Draft Residential Tenancy Jersey Law 200- Consultation Report

The Population Office is currently consulting on the Draft Residential Tenancy Jersey Law 200- Consultation Report which will modernise current legislation in this area and create a regulatory framework which will offer security of tenure and clarity as to the roles and responsibilities of those entering into the relationship of landlord and tenant. Comments on this Consultation are sought and welcome.

The Population Office has previously consulted on introducing a Jersey Names and Address Index, and New Mechanisms to Manage Migration. Comments on these proposals continue to be welcome, with the full proposals to be found in the section below headed "Managing Migration: New Mechanisms".
