RPI & House Prices
Price changes are a key economic indicator in Jersey. Data are published quarterly on the Retail Prices Index (RPI) and the House Price Index (HPI).
The RPI measures changes in the price of a representative range of goods and services purchased by Jersey residents; the HPI tracks movements in average and type-specific house prices.
Data and analysis reported here also compare price changes in Jersey with those in the UK.

In the first quarter of 2008, the average price of dwellings sold in Jersey was more than a quarter (28%) higher than the average in Q1 2007.
