Music Tuition

The Jersey Instrumental Service provides instrumental tuition to over 1000 pupils throughout the states schools on the Island. The Service is run by a staff of specialist instrumental teachers, who offer tuition on: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, french horn, tenor horn, trumpet, cornet, trombone, baritone, euphonium, tuba, violin,viola,cello, double bass and percussion.

In order to monitor the work of pupils closely, progress is regularly assessed by your child's teacher and reports are issued twice a year. The Service also provides tuition towards entry for the examinations of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
