Understanding Teenagers
It is now recognised that being a parent is one of the hardest, most stressful jobs we will ever do, and one that changes constantly, not least when our children reach the "teenage years"!
‘Understanding Teenagers’ is a six week evening course that aims to help parents develop an understanding of their changing role and of their teenagers changing behaviour and needs. The next course starts on Tuesday 24 January 2006 at Haute Vallee School .
The course includes sessions on communication, self-esteem, negotiation and limit setting.
The courses are run by trained parents and include a lot of discussion and laughter where parents share their successes, fears and frustrations in a safe, friendly environment.
