Careers Advice & Guidance
There are many different people at different stages of their lives who could benefit from access to careers information, advice and guidance. These could be students still in full time education who are looking to choose a course of study, those moving on from compulsory education into further education or employment, young people trying to choose a university course or a career area, people in employment who are looking for a change of direction or even those who are considering a return to learning in some form. Whatever the need, help is available from the Jersey Careers Service either to obtain information or to access independent and impartial advice and guidance. There areĀ a number of events throughout the year which give the opportunity to find out more information about courses, both locally and off Island, and careers. Details can be found in the Diary of Events. (opens in a new window) To assist local students who are studying out of the Island the Careers Service produces an Undergraduate Newsletter three times a year. This contains useful information e.g changes in the system of student funding, feature articles and details of vacancies, permanent and holiday work. Copies are sent directly to the local address of all higher education students but back copies are available on line by clicking on the links below.
