Home Library Services

House Service
This service is for people who are unable to get to the library for reasons of infirmity or disability.  Books of all kinds can be supplied in ordinary and large print as well as audio books on tape and compact disc.

A selection of books based on individual reading and listening interests is delivered to people's homes by library staff.


Residential Homes

Twenty seven nursing homes and day care centres regularly receive collections of library books for their residents.
