Joining the Library

Joining the library is simple. Just bring proof of identity (e.g. credit card/passport) and an official document that shows your address in Jersey (e.g. bank statement or a letter from your employer).

Children can join from birth. If you are under 18 you need to get your form signed by a parent/guardian.

Short term visitors to the island can use the library by leaving with us either a valid card from their home library card or a cash deposit.

If you are housebound and unable to get to the library, our Home Library Services may bring books to your door.

You can use your library card at all Jersey's Libraries; the town library, Les Quennevais branch library and on the mobile.
