Lifelong Learning

Learning is a ‘cradle to the grave’ activity.

We are all learners throughout our lives. The role of Education, Sport and Culture is to encourage that learning through:

• schools;
• youth service;
• library service;
• further, higher and adult education; opportunities for work related learning for students; 
• to support people in their learning by offering advice and information on careers, education and financial support for learners; and
• the promotion of cultural development and creative endeavour.
