F.B. Fields and Athletics Track

F.B. Fields and Athletics Track are facilities maintained by the Sport and Leisure Division. It is the home to a number of sports clubs and associations and provides an open green space in a residential area.

The Pavillion

The pavillion can be found close to the entrance of the site and houses changing facilities, toilets, first aid room and an officials room. Upstairs there is a balcony and a canteen and four judo clubrooms.

The Pitches

There are two cricket pitches during the cricket season, one of which has an award winning grass wicket. In additiona there are 5 cricket nets that are open to the public during the cricket season. In the winter there are several full size football pitches and junior football pitches marked out. There is also one grass hockey pitch.

Athletics Track

There is one 8 lane 400m all weather track. Inside the track all field events can be accomodated. The main user of this facility is the Jersey Spartan Athletic Club to find out further information on club meeting times please contact Andrew Winnie the Athletcis Development Officer on tel 449747.

Netball Courts

There are 2 tarmacadam netball courts situated behind the athletics track changing facilities and pavillion.

Table Tennis

The Geoff Reed Table Tennis Centre is the Jersey home of Table Tennis. The purpose built facility has eight top quality tables in the hall. Open coaching sessions are held on Thursdays from 6.30pm - 7.30pm. Special sessions are organised for children during the school holidays and are tutored by veteran island champion Eugene 'Yogi' Ellis.

How to Find Us

From the tunnel in St Helier travel in an easterly direction along La Route Du Fort, continue into Victoria Road. Pass the putting green at St Clement's Recreation Grounds and turn left at the traffic lights. Look out for the F.B. Fields entrance 300m on the right hand side. There is plenty of free parking near the entrance with additional free parking adjacent to the Geoff Reed Table Tennis Centre.
