Havre Des Pas Bathing Pool
Havre Des Pas Bathing Pool opened to the public in 1895. It is a large sea water pool and was home to Jersey Swimming Club for many years. Changing facilites and a cafe were added to the pool in 1927. Towards the end of the 1990's the pool was falling into disrepair and so a major re-fit took place in 2001. Since the beginning of 2005 the sport and leisure division have taken over the running of the bathing pool.
Havre Des Pas Bathing Pool is open from May to October and there is lifeguard cover from 10am - 6pm daily. The pool features a shallow children's pool and a central platform where older children and adults can jump and dive into the pool. The pool water is refreshed every day with the high tides, on high tides the children's pool is fully covered with the sea.
The pool has the only deep water pitch for Water Polo and training sessions and competitions organised by the Jersey Water Polo Association take place in the pool during the summer months. The Polar Bears Swimming Club (affiliated to JSC) are based at the pool and swim in the sea throughout the year. To find out details of their next swim check out
