St Aubins Fort Watersport Centre

 

The Centre is based at the western end of St. Aubin's Bay and enjoys sheltered waters in all but extreme conditions. The facilities are based around the 16th century fort which can also provide accommodation for up to 26 people in residence. Included in the Centre facilities are changing areas, hot showers, toilet facilities and fully equipped classrooms and catering facilities. Because the Centre is located in tidal waters, it is cut off by the sea for approximately three hours each side of high tide and courses therefore are often timed to take this into account.

The residential facility can be booked by Jersey schools and recognised youth organisations. The group leader is required to complete a short training course involving an overnight stay, prior to taking a booking. The current charge for use of St Aubin’s Fort is £2.50 per young person, with no charge to adult staff.
