Price Marking Law for Jersey

Price Indicators (Jersey) Regulations 2008

These Regulations came into force in May this year.

The Regulations were approved in the States on 12th March, and introduced a requirement for the marking of the price of goods that are offered for sale by traders.

The key provision is that where applicable, GST must, subject to some exceptions, be included in the marked price (an inclusive pricing regime).
