If you have bought a BARNSLIG baby sleeping bag IKEA kindly ask that you return it to your local IKEA store whom you will receive a full refund.
IKEA has received two customer reports where the zip bottom stop has detached from the zipper which also makes it possible for the zip slider to detach. Both parts could produce a choking hazard to small children.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the failure was poor quality of the zipper. IKEA have stopped the sales and production of BARNSLIG sleeping bags and we are now reviewing our routines to ensure the future quality of BARNSLIG sleeping bags.
