Animal Tracking Explorer Kit Recall

The following notice has been published in the national press:

IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVICE

ANIMAL TRACKING EXPLORER KIT

We have become aware that this product, which should have included Plaster of Paris, was actually supplied with Calcium Hydroxide, a chemical which is potentially harmful. Calcium Hydroxide is an irritant, misuse of which could cause burns to the skin and eyes.

If you have purchased one of these kits, and still have any material remaining in the bag marked 'Plaster of Paris', it should be immediately disposed of in the main household refuse, taking care to avoid spillage on the skin or clothing. Its is also advisable to dispose of any casts made using the kit. In case of skin contact with Calcium Hydroxide, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
