About the consultation

Draft planning guidance has been issued for consultation, which, if adopted, could contribute towards making the community safer.

Supplementary planning guidance (SPG) on crime impact statements is required under the new Island Plan, which was agreed by the States in June 2011. The guidance is intended to design out crime and design in community safety and will require crime impact statements to be submitted with planning applications where appropriate.
 

How to submit comments to the consultation

After reading the draft guidance you can either submit your comments electronically via our on-line survey or you can download the consultation document and send comments to us by email or by post.  Please mark your comments for the attention of Roger Corfield.
