Notices served April to June 2020

Prohibition Notices

Twelve immediate Prohibition Notices were served:

  • six relating to unsafe work at height on construction sites
  • one relating to an unsafe and unguarded table saw on a construction site
  • one relating to unacceptable standards of housekeeping on a construction site
  • one relating to unsafe access and egress to work at height on a construction site
  • one relating to a failure to implement a safe system of work whilst painting a house
  • two relating to inadequate measures being taken to minimise the spread of COVID-19 on construction sites

Improvement Notices

Two Improvement Notices were also served:

  • both related to a failure to provide adequate welfare arrangements on construction sites
