The figures in response 'A' below are Public Health statistics using Office of National Statistics (ONS) definitions and coding.

Deaths in Jersey recorded as suicide:
- 2016 and 2017: currently unavailable as these have not yet been coded.
B
10 of the individuals above had open episodes with mental health services when they died.
C
In addition to the 10 people identified above, a further 13 individuals had received support from mental health services at some point in the past 10 years.
D
Due to the small numbers involved, it is not possible to provide a further breakdown; to do so would risk unfairly disclosing personal data of identifiable living individuals and is therefore exempt under Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
