Request

Please supply your managerial organisational chart for all States of Jersey departments / sections.

Presumably this has already been produced and freely available including:

A

Paths relating to ministerial positions

B

Position titles, names, (where appointed) contact details

C

Still to be appointed positions should be shown as job titles

I would like to see the organisational chart, detailing the reporting links between the civil service and the political ministerial structure.

Please supply the current position together with the new version proposed by the new CEO as mentioned here:

Proposals for public sector restructure

Your chart should detail all heads of sections as and shall distil down to senior management positions and responsibilities.

Response

A

The Council of Ministers were appointed on 7 June 2018 and further details can be found at the following link:

States Assembly: Ministers

Article 30A of the States of Jersey Law 2005 requires ministerial responsibilities to be published. The information is therefore exempt further to Article 36 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 (Information intended for future publication).

B and C

Please find below a link to the structure chart for the new target operating model, updated following the recent staff consultation.

About the new States of Jersey structure

Where appointments have been made they have been announced:

Senior leadership changes announced

Public sector restructuring plans finalised

All vacant roles in the new organisational structure are being advertised and can be found on the recruitment website:

One team jersey recruitment

A chart outlining the established structure is attached. It does not include contact details and names as the information requested is not held in this format.

Chief Executive Officer and Direct Reports

However, a table of Chief Officer positions was included in the 2017 Accounts available at the following link:

States of Jersey Annual Report and Accounts 2017

Furthermore, members of the public can contact departments, and view Ministerial and Assistant Ministerial Appointments, on:

States of Jersey web site
