BodyContent Request Please would the Jersey Future Hospital project team provide me with a table showing the areas in square metres of each department in the General Hospital compared to the areas allocated in the revised plans for Jersey's Future Hospital for the same Departments, including office space and soft spaces? Response The Jersey Future Hospital project team do not hold the information that you have requested in a format that compares square meterage by hospital department. Comparison data is held by zone and this is presented in the below table, which supports the Outline Business Case prepared in October 2017. The Outline Business case identifies areas within the existing hospital at a high level and shows how the size of floor spaces have been re-allocated as the design has developed to form the areas within the original outline planning application (RIBA 1 As Drawn Total). The table is extracted from Appendix 37 of the Outline Business Case. The communication and plant areas for the existing hospital are not detailed separately within the table, however, the total area of the existing hospital, including those elements is 38,863m2 as identified on page 20 of the Strategic Outline Case of May 2013.
