I would like to know the prices paid for items purchased in 2017 / 2018 by the General Hospital for general medical supplies as I believe there is a lot of overpaying by the States making it a total inefficient way of spending tax payers money.
The Health and Social Services Department holds the information relating to the prices paid for general medical supplies, as requested. However, as the release of this information will be likely to prejudice the commercial interests of our suppliers, Article 33(b) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied. Therefore, the information will not be disclosed.
Information is qualified exempt information if –
(a) it constitutes a trade secret; or
(b) its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of a person (including the scheduled public authority holding the information).
