For referrals from GPs to Hospital Consultants that are deemed by the relevant consultant to be urgent, the aim is to see patients within two weeks.

For referrals from GPs to Hospital Consultants that are deemed by the relevant consultant to be required soon, the aim is to see patients within four weeks.

For referrals from GPs to Hospital Consultants that are deemed by the relevant consultant to be routine, patients are seen in in a chronological order – that is when the referral was received by the hospital.
