Please provide the annual cost of services provided to the Department of the Environment by Structural Engineers Registration Ltd in administering and servicing the Structural Engineers Registration scheme in Jersey each year since its inception.
A scheme for Certification of Design (Building Structures) was approved in 2007 and introduced in January 2008. Structural Engineers Registration Ltd (SER) were appointed to provide and administer that scheme on behalf of the department with the costs of providing the scheme covered by a flat rate charge.
The current charge for administering and servicing the Jersey SER scheme is £73.00 for each project certificate issued. There is no annual cost to the department.
