Response

The States of Jersey have commissioned various studies in recent years which consider coastal and inland flooding at some of the more vulnerable locations around the Island. Reports relating to these studies are available for downloading on the States of Jersey Website. Links to these documents are set out below.

A report titled Coastal / Pluvial / Fluvial Modelling for Jersey was also put together in 2010 by Emergency Planning department. This report is attached below:

Coastal / Pluvial / Fluvial Flood Modelling for Jersey

In July 2018 the States of Jersey commissioned a study to develop a Shoreline Climate Resilience Management Plan. This includes flood modelling, assessment of flood risk and production of flood risk maps covering the whole Island. This is a 15 month project and the flood risk information will be used to inform policy making and emergency planning. The flood risk maps will be made upon project completion.
