The Energy Recovery Facility (the waste incinerator) has flue gas monitoring equipment installed to analyse and report on the gases processed by the flue gas treatment plant. The flue gases are monitored for the following:
• Hydrogen Chloride• Sulphur Dioxide• Nitrous Oxides• Carbon Monoxide• Particulates• Volatile Organic Compounds• Carbon Dioxide• Moisture Content
BIndependent analytical specialists are contracted to conduct full testing and calibration of the flue gas monitoring equipment twice per year.
