Response

A.

Information is not held on how many children attending Bel Royal school walk down Rue de Haut, however at the inception of the `walking bus' for Bel Royal School on 18th May 2015 around 20 students were participating.

B.

The works have cost £137,199 including professional fees.

C.

Two contracts have been involved in delivering the works. A term professional services contract was used for the design and supervision of the scheme and a construction contract was used for the implementation.

D.

WSP Parsons Brinkerhoff were used to design and supervise the works, while Augres Landscape (2014) Ltd were used to construct the works.

E.

The professional services term contract was tendered and the service provider appointed in March 2012. The construction contract was tendered and awarded in January 2015.

F.

The TTS signs and lining section was sub-contracted by the main contractor to manufacture and erect bespoke traffic management signage. The project was managed overall by a TTS Senior Engineer. TTS drainage operatives were employed to carry out before and after surveys of the highway drainage, and a TTS employee carried out the required topographical survey.

G.

TTS use external resources when internal resources are being utilised on other projects and where external resources are better suited to carry out the work.

H.

A record drawing with each block and stone individually numbered is held.

I.

A record of the location of every block/stone of all the granite removed is held.

J.

The granite set is complete.
