“The Jersey Care model speaks of the new hospital having 200 beds. Please give a breakdown of categories of beds within that total and state whether, or not, the remedial beds to be provided by private contractors in nursing homes are in addition to, or a part of that overall figure of 200 beds.

Health & Community Services (HCS) do not hold data to support the request of bed vacancies at 2100hrs. HCS are able to provide data of midnight occupancy in acute care between 1 August 2019 and 31 October 2019.
Please note EAU is the Emergency Assessment Unit which accepts medical patients.

Planning of ‘Our Hospital’ continues to progress but at this stage HCS do not have this level of detail regarding the Jersey Care Model.
