The figures at A.(1) are the total warrants issued each year to both the States police and the Jersey Customs and Immigration department. We do not hold separate figures for the number of warrants issued solely to the police. The fact a warrant was executed is recorded against the individual and the address. For question B, it is not possible to produce figures for each individual event. The above figures are the total costs paid for repairs caused by damage on entry where nothing was recovered or no arrest was made. No further compensation is made. Often police are able to gain entry without causing any damage.

C.

The majority of warrants are to search for illegal drugs, followed by stolen property. Others were for offences against the firearms law and in connection with downloaded indecent images.
