In relation to the States Of Jersey Police/Honorary police force, why is it that when you use your rights you get arrested for obstruction? The following is only an example.You get stopped in your car, you present your log book (which has your address), and your driving licence (which has your name and D.O.B.) you don't say a single word to the PC. The PC cautions you (which includes "you have the right to remain silent") you choose to remain silent, and don't answer any questions, and the police arrest you for obstruction? You later get released by the custody sergeant.Example finish.Why is this?
