Summary

​​The South West Cancer Intelligence Service (SWCIS) has assisted the cancer registration process for the Channel Islands since January 1996.

This is the 9th annual report from this service to incorporate data for Jersey and Guernsey.

Data for the South West of England are provided for comparison, for the prevalance of 21 cancer sites or types.

This report is an update using new 2007-09 population data for Jersey. The populations were re-estimated based on the 2011 census results.
