​Access to the hospital

The General Hospital is in St Helier. The main entrance to the hospital is on the The Parade. This entrance is open 24 hours a day. At night, you'll need to ring the bell to request entry.

The other entrance is on Newgate Street, near Patriotic Street car park. This entrance is only open until 7pm.

Parking

There is very limited parking at the entrance to the hospital. The nearest car park is Patriotic Street car park. When you're in labour it's possible to leave the car at the entrance of the hospital for a short amount of time, if there is a space available. You will need to move your vehicle to another car park and pay for your parking either using parking paycards or PayByPhone.
