WHAT WE DO:

We provide an Island wide decontamination service for reusable medical devices. These processes consist of cleaning, disinfecting and sterilising. Depending on the device we may use one of these processes, a combination, or all three. All our processes are monitored and records kept, this ensures that all aspects of the decontamination process have been carried out effectively. Our aim is to return devices to the end user safe for re-use.

All new devices to be processed must be sent to the Manager with relevant information from the manufacturer. This will allow us to disassemble, process and pack the device correctly. Advice will be given to the end user with regard to care, maintenance and packaging of all devices

WHAT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED:

The consequences for patients, if these processes are not carried out correctly, can be very serious.

We undertake this service in a manner which safeguards the health and safety of patients and staff.
