A key challenge for improving the populations’ health will be to lead and influence others toward achieving conditions which support improved health. This challenge is led by the Health Promotion Department

The role and function of the department is to provide advice and guidance, legislative and administrative control, in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment in compliance with public health regulations and standards in line with the Public Health Service business plan. In short we strive to ensure a positive impact on the key determinants out of health and improve the quality of life of those living and visiting Jersey.
