For the General Hospital and Social Services, Patriotic Street public car park is close by. This car park requires paycards which can be purchased from newsagents.
St Saviours Hospital and Overdale Hospital has parking spaces available for visitors.
The Public Health Department, at Le Bas Centre has a few spaces available for visitors, alternatively Gas Place public car park is near by. This car park requires paycard which can be purchased from newsagents.
Public Transport:
The No 5 bus stops at the general hospital. For the timetable of the No 5 bus and the routes of other buses which terminate at the bus station in the centre of St. Helier please see the 'My Bus' Website.
The No 3A bus stops at St. Saviours Hospital.
Non-Emergency Patient Transport (PTS):
The States of Jersey Ambulance Service is responsible for the provision of Emergency and Non-Emergency Transport for the whole island.
Am I Eligible for Non-Emergency Patient Transport? To qualify for non-emergency transport you must be medically unfit to travel by any other means and have no alternative means of travelling to or from hospital.
How do I arrange for Transport? Your GP or Hospital medical staff decides whether you need the service.
What you can do to help patient Transport Services? If you doctor has made arrangements for you to travel to hospital by Patient Transport and, for whatever reason, you do not need it, please let us know by telephoning 624750 (between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday).
