Skilled work permits - Entertainers

 

The majority of applications will be for short term (1 to 7 days/nights) established professional entertainers who are in the UK on work permit conditions. In line with other UK work permit holders a permit will not be required for the performance in Jersey unless they are here for more than one week. However, the employer in the Island must produce the following:

• Copy of the personal details page of the passport, the page showing the current UK Immigration endorsement and a copy of the UK work permit.

• Publicity material from the venue or confirmation from the entertainer’s and/or employer’s website of the performance in Jersey.

If the entertainer is staying for longer than a week or coming directly from abroad the applications are processed as follows:

• Long version of the work permit application together with the appropriate fee.

• Copy of the personal details page of the passport and, if applicable, the page showing the current UK Immigration endorsement.

•  Publicity material and/or biographical details of entertainer.

• Accommodation is to be provided or arranged by the employer.
