- British citizens - but dependants of British citizens may require entry clearances/visas to enter the Island.
- Nationals of member states of the European Economic Area (EEA). See Below
- Family members of EEA nationals may also work without permits but must obtain an ‘EEA Family Permit’ to enter the country. (See list of EEA countries below)
- Swiss nationals
- Commonwealth citizens admitted as working holiday makers.
- Commonwealth citizens admitted on the grounds of UK ancestry.
- Other overseas nationals who have no restrictions attached to their stay - for example, long term residents.
