Express Service for Passports

This office is frequently asked to process applications quickly for people who have been asked to travel at short notice or who have not checked that their passport is valid until just before they are due to travel.

We always do our best to meet travel dates where possible. However, this often results in the department incurring additional expense and unfairly delaying the processing of other applications.

If you do not have sufficient time for your application to be processed in the normal way you may have to use the Express Service to enable us to produce your passport before your date of travel.

There is an additional charge of £35.00 per application for this service. All passports processed under this scheme must be collected from this office.
