We have recently had a baby. Can his/her name be added to our passports?
It is no longer possible to include the names of children in parents’ passports. It is therefore necessary for your
child to have their own passport.
Children whose names already appear in their parents’ passports are unaffected by this change and can continue to travel in the company of their parent (s) until;
i) They reach the age of sixteen years, or
ii) The passport has to be replaced
whichever occurs first.
