Connétable
Head of Parish and its Honorary Police. Also holds a seat in the States of Jersey (The Island of Jersey's Parliament).
Centenier
Honorary Police Officer in Jersey - the most senior rank with the exception of the Connétable.The lower ranks are composed of Vingteniers and Constables Officers.
Bailiff
Head of the Judiciary and Speaker within the States of Jersey.
Jurat
A lay member of the Royal Court sitting with the presiding Bailiff or Deputy Bailiff.
Lieutenant Governor
Representative in Jersey of the British Crown.
Defence Committee
States of Jersey political body with responsibility for professional policing.
Special Constable
A form of voluntary and un-paid Policing common in Great Britain. The selection, training and deployment of Specials being the responsibility of the professional police.
