Housing
The Housing Department aims to provide social rented housing to meet the needs of locally qualified individuals or families who are unable to house themselves in the private sector on financial, medical or social grounds. It is responsible for managing the existing stock of publicly-owned housing, initiating the development of new housing where necessary and overseeing the waiting list for these homes.
