Bestselling Author Cathy Cassidy Visits Jersey

Cathy Cassidy will be in Jersey on Thursday 5 February as part of her book tour to launch the latest book in her bestselling Chocolate Box Girls series. The tour, sponsored by the publisher Puffin, will take Cathy to venues throughout the UK and for the first time ever includes Jersey.

Two events, co-ordinated by Jersey Library Service, will take place at Jersey College for Girls. Students aged 9 to 14 from a variety of the Island’s primary and secondary schools will get a chance to find out more about Cathy and her books, including the latest title Sweet Honey.

Top tips

Cathy will share stories of her early writing days and career in journalism working for both Jackie and Shout magazines. Cathy’s talk is filled with top tips for friendship, daydreaming and lots of chocolate! The talk will include a Q and A section where Cathy’s fans will have the chance to have their questions answered. Cathy will then be available for a signing session and will sign any books the children buy or have brought along with them on the day.
