Household Green Waste Reception is on the move

​On Tuesday 29 March the new Household Green Waste Reception at La Collette will open, replacing the current facility at Gate 15 Bellozanne.

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is building a new reception for household green waste as part of the La Collette Recycling Park project that will bring together all of the Island’s waste and recycling facilities.

Efficiency

Deputy Eddie Noel, Minister for DfI said: "This is the first of our public recycling facilities to move to the La Collette Recycling Park.  The move will enable us to work more efficiently as we will no longer need to move green waste from Bellozanne to La Collette for composting."

Customers using the existing Household Green Waste Reception at Bellozanne are being advised of the changes and the Department is publishing a number of communications to raise awareness of the new site opening and the closure of the Gate 15 Bellozanne facility.
