Chief Minister to hold COVID-19 Q&A

31 March 2020

Between 5pm and 6pm today, the Chief Minister, Senator John Le Fondré, will host a Twitter Q&A to answer questions from the public about coronavirus. Members of the public can submit questions using the hashtag #AskTheCM.

The Chief Minister will be responding to questions from his personal Twitter account (@John_Le_Fondre) on the virus, including Jersey’s response to the outbreak.

Chief Minister, Senator John Le Fondré said: “While I have already been speaking regularly with members of the media, this Q&A is an opportunity for me to speak directly with the public.

“Many people are anxious about what coronavirus means for them, their family, and their livelihood. This strength of feeling means that it is more important than ever for politicians to be available to the public and for me, as Chief Minister, to be able to speak directly to Islanders.”
