How useful is our information?
Since we added a feedback form to our webpages, we’ve received many comments and ratings. The form allows you to tell us what you think about a page, and to ‘rate’ the usefulness of it.
The feedback form asks you to rate the information on a page from very useful to not at all useful. If you think a page isn’t useful, it helps us if you tell us why, because we can then consider how to change and improve it.
If you want us to respond to your comments, please include your email address. We'll acknowledge or reply to your comments within 5 working days.

What we do with your comments and ratings
Our web team reads every comment we receive. We forward any comments that need a response or urgent action to the relevant department’s web representative.
If we receive feedback about a technical issue – for example, a broken link – we will fix it as soon as possible. All other feedback and ratings are collected and reviewed at the end of each month and sent to the relevant web reps. We discuss with each web rep how these comments can be used to improve our content.
We’ve already made changes to the site based on your feedback. For example:
- we’ve added more 'See also' links across the site for easier navigation
- we’ve updated our contact details and 'See also' images to make them more visible
- we’ve used tables and bullet points to break up large paragraphs and make information easier to read and understand
- we’ve fixed grammatical mistakes and unclear wording
- we’ve updated and fixed links across the site
- we’ve added contact details wherever possible to ensure that you know who to call if you need further information
Continuing to improve our site
We want to keep improving our site for you so that you find it easy to use and so that you get the information you need. You can help us to do this by telling us what you do and don’t like or understand and why.
We're currently working on improvements to the following areas of our site:
- our search engine and the way we display our results
- individual income tax (taxes and your money section)
- Goods and Services Tax (taxes and your money section)
These changes will go live in mid-2012.
