Historic Fortifications

The maintenance of the Island's historic fortifications is carried out by the infrastructure maintenance section of Transport and Technical Services. These fortifications include forts, towers, castles and other defence structures.  Elizabeth Castle and Gorey Castle are maintained by The Jersey Heritage Trust.
