Sea Defences

The Transport and Technical Services Department maintains the Islands sea defences on a priority first basis, as detailed in the Island Sea Defences Strategy.

This inculdes the granite and concrete sea walls, pormenades, slipways, access steps and all hand railings on the beach area.

Please contact the Department to report any damage or unsafe sea defences.
