Transport, Roads and Vehicles
The Transport and Technical Services Department is responsible for setting policy, managing and maintaining the (A, B and C) roads, managing traffic, providing parking, public transport and ensuring drivers and vehicles are roadworthy.

Driver and Vehicle Standards Department The department acts as Jersey’s vehicle registration and licencing authority. The department is also responsible for conducting both theory and driving tests for all catagories, ensuring the road worthiness of all vehicles and controlling the movement of large oversized goods vehicles. ParkingThe Parking Control section manage the municipal car parking facilities. More than 60,000 vehicles are registered in Jersey and most are private cars, many of which commute daily from out-lying parishes. Safe, clean and well managed car parks provide an essential facility for much of the Island's work-force and a substantial contribution to Jersey's economy.
