MISSION STATEMENT

To ensure that the safety, technical provisions and documentation for drivers and vehicles in Jersey are improved to, and/or maintained at, internationally recognised standards.

The Department for Driver and Vehicle Standards is Jersey’s vehicle registration authority.  Part of Transport & Technical Services, it is responsible for administering tests for drivers of motorcycles, cars and commercial vehicles and also for ensuring that these vehicles are roadworthy and match international standards.
