What do I need to do when using an unloading bay?

You need to display your arrival time using a yellow parking disk and you may also need to display a business name and address in the windscreen depending on the unloading bay you use, information will be displayed on signs in each area.

Can I use a private car on an unloading bay?

Many of the unloading bays in St Helier are now commercial vehicle use only, which means that you cannot use a private car or estate on them. A commercial vehicle is a van, lorry or similar vehicle which has been built for commercial purposes.

What happens if I am going to be longer than the permitted time as I have a large delivery to make?

If you are going to take longer than the permitted time on an unloading bay, you should contact Parking Control on 448669 and make arrangements for this in advance if possible. If you are in the middle of a delivery and find it is taking longer than expected, either phone Parking Control on 448663 or speak to a Parking Control Officer in the area.

I have a delivery to make but this is not an unloading bay near the premises I need to deliver to.
