Concessionary Bus Passes

Transport and Technical Services administers a scheme to provide free bus travel for resident Senior Citizens.

Senior Citizen concessionary bus passes are currently available to Jersey residents of pensionable age as follows: 
Male: 65 years, unless they have elected to receive a pension at 63
Female: 60 years if registered with the Social Security Department before 1 January 1975, or Jersey-born before 1959.  Otherwise 65 years
(criteria as per Social Security's definition of "pensionable age")

UK Pensioners are not able to use their concessionary travel passes on the Jersey bus network as there is no reciprocal agreement between Jersey and the UK.  Similarily, Jersey concessionary travel passes are not valid in the UK.

Application forms for concessionary travel passes can be obtained from your Parish Hall or Liberation Station and should be returned to Travel Pass Applications, PO Box 700, JE4 0PE.
