Consultations
There have been a number of consultations and news releases on GST please see the
summary of responses.
Income Support has been introduced to protect the lowest earners in the Island from the effects of GST. Senator Le Sueur also propsed some
alternatives to proposed GST exemptions. These include an increase in the Income tax thresholds of 3.5% targetted to help middle income earners.
